GCS <15
Requiring Isolation
Abnormal ECG
Current Chest Pain
>24 Weeks Pregancy
Routine Bloods
Non Ambulatory
Requiring Isolation

Inclusion Criteria
Aged 18 or over
News 4 or Less
DVT
PE (No SOB on minimal exertion, BP Stable)
Cellulitis (Not Septic)
Recent Chest Pain (Under 50, No Cardiac PMH, Normal ECG, CP resolved)
Headache (Fast Negative, GCS 15, Not in Severe Pain)
Frailty (Consider referral to UCR for Frailty score <4 or Frailty Pathway for >4)

What is Same Day Emergency Care?
NHS England have produced this video explaining the rationale and benefits to the patient of using SDEC as an alternative to A&E admission. If your patient fits the criteria, assessment and discharge within the same day dramatically increases positive outcome.
